Our story

Scan IT Africa was one of the first South African-based document management bureaus to offer high-volume scanning services. We entered the market at ground level and have evolved with the changing needs of our customers. Today, as the majority of document management projects involve scanning, we offer a wide range of services to a large and varied customer base.

We continue to invest in new technologies, and we are in a position where any type of paper or data can be handled or converted electronically. We use Wicks & Wilson microfilm scanners for their continuous reliability and accuracy.

After long and in-depth studies of the software packages on the market, we developed and wrote our own processing software. It is versatile enough to accommodate your line of business – instead of you having to change your systems to suit an imaging system.

How we work

Our strength lies in the survey we undertake to understand each customer’s requirements and document flow. We then use the versatility of our system to design and create an imaging system that best meets the objectives you want to achieve.

We are committed to accurate, excellent quality work and to the highest standards of business ethics, responsibility and environmental sustainability.
