Information you send us

When you use our contact form we collect the details you enter – your name, company, phone number, email address and message. We use them only to respond to your enquiry and to provide the quotation or service you ask for. We do not sell or share them with third parties for their own marketing.

Enquiries are delivered to us by email and a copy is kept on our web server so that no request is lost. You may ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing braam@scanit.co.za.

Cookies, analytics and remarketing

In accordance with Google’s policies, we inform you that this website may use cookies for Google Ads remarketing or other Google Ads features that track such cookies.

By visiting this site, you agree that some of our Google Ads remarketing and other advertisements may follow you as you visit other websites that form part of Google’s Display Network.

  • We will under no circumstances use personally identifiable information obtained through our Google Ads remarketing campaigns in any other marketing – online or otherwise – and will not share it with third parties.
  • We will under no circumstances use sensitive information of any nature in our remarketing tags.
  • We endeavour to comply with all of Google’s current advertising policies, and to correct any non-conformity promptly.

We may use Google Analytics features to measure the success of our online marketing.

You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time through Google’s Ad Settings, and read how Google uses information at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

The contact form uses one essential cookie to protect it against spam and forged submissions. It is deleted when you close your browser. A second small cookie (“scanit_v2”) simply records that your browser has loaded the current version of this website, so that outdated pages saved from our previous website are cleared once. Neither cookie contains any personal information.
